ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Field Sales Manager role is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with a leading Google Cloud Premier Partner, headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia. As part of Premier Cloud’s growth efforts, we’re expanding to Austin, Texas, and opening a new sales office!
As a Field Sales Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Sales. You will work closely with Googlers in the Austin offices - collaborating on joint campaigns to drive Google Cloud Platform (GCP) wins, and sell Premier Cloud’s Professional Services offerings.
As Field Sales Manager, you will manage the GCP Field Sales Representatives in the Premier Cloud Austin office. You will be responsible for helping them build pipelines, establish relationships with Googlers, and achieve their quarterly and annual sales targets.
An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a sales team, exceptional communication skills, the ability to sell via email/phone/video conference, a passion for problem-solving, deal strategy, and building relationships with prospects & Googlers to find optimal cloud solutions.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of FSRs, and assist them in achieving their quarterly and annual sales targets
- Highly engaged with Googlers to promote co-sell activities and campaigns with their teams
- In-person selling to companies in the Austin area, with a willingness to travel when necessary
- Effectively prepare and deliver proposals based on prospect requirements
- Achieve individual quarterly and annual sales targets for Google Cloud and Professional Services
- Keep accurate records of all customer engagements and active pipelines in our CRM (Salesforce), while ensuring the team does the same
- Submit qualified opportunities through Google’s Partner Sales tool(s)
ROLE REQUIREMENTS / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Past experience working for Google or a Google Partner would be an asset
- Proven track record managing a sales team
- Experience selling Google Cloud or similar
- Ability to source, engage, and create relationships with Googlers & prospects
- Completion of relevant Google certifications (such as Google Cloud Digital Leader or Google Cloud Sales Credential) would be an asset
- A strong foundation of knowledge surrounding Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or any other public cloud would be an asset
*The earning amount displayed represents On-Target Earnings (OTE).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
